On This Day

On this day we take sometime to remember those of the past and those that currently fight to preserve the things that we take for granted on a daily basis. This Memorial Day is a very profound day for me personally thing year. Having just come back from seeing some of the horrors of war, up close while in Hiroshima, Japan I cannot imagine what it was, is and can be like fighting for your country with such selflessness.

On this day, I, and Mike’s Brew Review want to give thanks to every man and woman that has or is serving in our Armed Services. I would like to give thanks to all the friends and family that have sacrificed so that my family didn’t. Thank you!

On this day, Memorial Day, it was originally intended as a holiday to commemorate Civil War soldiers, but also to celebrate the uniting of the North and South, later opened up to all soldiers of war. I think its important that we don’t forget about uniting to be one. Please take today to remember your fellow man.
